Roberto is a dedicated business owner and an example of a hard worker’s American Dream.
Born in Peru, Roberto attended college before emigrating to the US on his own at age 19 in 1990 in search of a better life. After a few months in New Jersey, he came to Georgia with some new friends and began working long days and saving money — from landscaping to restaurants. He learned English fluently along the way and was given the opportunity to use his bilingual skills translating for area attorneys. In 2002 decided to pursue a career in real estate. He was licensed by 2003 and immediately went to work for Century 21, and a few years later he joined Virtual Properties Realty. He became a US citizen 2005.
When the real estate market slowed, Roberto went to work for a well-established commercial roofing company whose customers included Delta, Georgia Tech, W Hotels and the Salvation Army. Within a couple of years, he opened his own roofing company, Atlanta RoofMasters, after seeing time and again that there was a deep need in the Atlanta market for personalized residential roofing services.
Roberto uses the expertise gained as a commercial roofing superintendent, real estate agent, bilingual professional and hands-on worker on each Atlanta RoofMasters project. You’ll see instantly that he has a patient, friendly communication style and a natural desire to achieve and excel — along with a streak of perfectionism. He values his work, his customers, his crews, the lasting business relationships he builds as he continues to grow his roofing company, and, above all, his three children.
